Energy Island

During the coming year Energinet are conducting varius kind of data collection regarding meteological and oceanographic data at Lille Fisker Banke (Turbot Banke)  at the site of the coming energy island. All buoys will be deployed primo November 2021 and they will be situated in order to disturb the fishery as little as possible. The planned positions are shown in the below figure.

A survey examining the presence of marine mammals has been launched in December 2021. The survey is expected to have a duration of 2 years. The survey consists of 14 PAM stations with a buoy, furthermore 7 soundtraps have been deployed at the seabed at every second PAM station. All stations have been deployed within the survey area.
