Description: FOGA ApS, a privately- owned company was founded in Esbjerg in 1982 upon the initiative of pipeline project operators in the Danish sector. An independent entity was needed to provide consultancy services, which benefited both the fishery- and offshore industry. Since then Foga has served as a connection and information provider between offshore operators and the fishery sector. Nowadays, the company Foga is servicing the offshore wind market, oil and gas market and futher maritime sectors with a range of services and vessels. The companies headquarter is still based in Esbjerg, Denmark.

Description: FOGA has extensive experience with accumulation and distribution of information about maritime activities in order to prevent and avoid accidents relating to offshore activities. FOGA Info is a weekly newsletter covering these activities. The newsletter is distributed to fishermen, windfarm, and oild and gas operators and suppliers, as well as other interested parties in various countries via E-mail and on our website. You can download the newest version by clicking on the map. Description: On request of our clients, FOGA ApS informs fishermen and organisations from Denmark and several other countries on relevant offshore activities in the North Sea. The information is distributed via E-mail on a weekly basis via an overview chart with a nautical chart on one side and a text describing the operations in detail on the other side. Receiving the overview charts via E-mail is free of charge. Current clients who utilise our services to provide information about their activities at sea include companies such as OIL GAS DENMARK, TOTAL E&P, WINTERSHALL, INEOS OIL & GAS and further. The overview chart gives a quick and efficient overview of offshore activities which can have an impact on the fishery. FOGA is issuing and distributing the overview chart on behalf of OIL GAS DENMARK, which is an association for the Danish operators and suppliers to the oil- and gas industry.
